Micro-Polar is a Microwave measuring system, which – based on transmission technology, penetrates the whole material cross-section, thus allowing for utmost representative measuring results. Once installed and calibrated, Micro-Polar works highly accurately and reliably for many years of operation. J D Neuhaus, one of Europes foremost materials handling and lifting specialists, are exhibiting on stand number E58, hall 12 at the CeMAT International Material Handling Fair being held during 2nd 6th May at Hannover, Germany. The company has established a reputation for quality products, combining reliability, performance and longevity, for operation in hazardous or arduous conditions.
JDN are taking this opportunity to show some of their latest products, many of which have been developed to cover specialised applications within particular industries. These include the
EH 25 monorail hoist which is designed to fulfil all requirements for the safe and effective handling of BOP products whether for offshore rigs, sea going vessels or land based operations. A 25 tonne lift capacity is combined with air or hydraulic operated lift and travel movements, together with optional remote electrical or radio controls. For shipbuilding or general shipyard applications the new JDN Profi 25 TI hoist provides both horizontal and oblique lifting and pulling with sensitive positioning control and rugged reliability. The EH and Profi hoists both benefit from recent design advantages in performance, low component count and energy savings with models also available with 37 and 50 tonnes lift capacities.
To complement these marine proven products, the company will have on show their Profi 6 TI air operated hoist developed for subsea operation. Other 25 tonne capacity hoists have already been successfully deployed in underwater repair operations on a large tanker vessel while still afloat.
Their Profi 2 TI hoist also being exhibited will be equipped with a low headroom trolley for overhead rail operation. This product, with a 2 tonne lift, is ideal for many industrial applications such as foundries and chemical, cement and pharmaceuticals production.
A Profi 3 TI hoist of 3.2 tonne capacity and suitable for cryogenic operation down to 20°C will also be shown, ideal for cold store operation. These products can be either air or hydraulically operated. For operation at temperatures from 20° to 45°C, hydraulic hoists can be supplied fitted with a pre-heating device for the drives, with cryogenic hydraulic oil used for the control, traverse and lifting operations. An adapted EH 20 hydraulic monorail hoist has also been successfully tested for operation at these extreme arctic conditions.

Como era de esperarse el Mobile World Congress 2011 iba a ser un desfile de tablet, al igual que hemos visto en el CES.
Hoy en el segundo día del evento le ha tocado el turno a la empresa HT con la presentación de HTC Flyer, una tablet con diseño muy bonito.
De verdad que presenta un diseño muy cuidado, con una estética impecable rompiendo con la monotonía de lo convencional.
¿Qué puede ofrecernos HTC Flyer? Cuenta con una pantalla de 7 pulgadas y una resolución de unos 1024×600 píxeles.

Un detalle interesante que le da un bonus a esta propuesta de HTC es que trae como accesorio un puntero capacitivo. Curioso, verdad? Pero no deja de ser una idea interesante, ya que permite interactuar con varias aplicaciones y sin mencionar la practicidad de poder hacer anotaciones o marcas en nuestros archivos.
Siguiendo con la misma línea presentada por las tablets que ya conocemos, HTC Flyer cuenta con una cámara para videollamadas en la parte frontal de unos 1.3 megapíxeles y otra de 5 megapíxeles que encontraremos en la parte posterior. En cuanto a capacidad, puede ofrecerte 32 GB, pero ya sabes que no es definitivo ya que puedes ampliarla.
Durante el transcurso de la mañana, HTC hará su presentación donde seguramente ampliará la información de HTC Flyer.
